Overnight Yorkshire were 9-0, a deficit of 216.

On a bright sunny, but coolish morning Yorkshire made an uneasy start losing Wharton caught at the wicket for four and Will Luxton caught at second slip for two. Skipper, Jonny Tattersall joined Will Fraine and they added 46 in 99 balls before Fraine was adjudged lbw for 37 from 75 balls with 3 fours and Yorkshire were 67-3.

This was extended to 103 without further loss at lunch – Matthew Waite 11 not out and Tattersall 45 not out from 89 balls.
Tattersall completed his second half century of the match from 108 balls but fell lbw as Yorkshire were reduced to 118-4. This became 126-5 when Allinson was caught at slip. Yash Vagadia joined Matthew Waite and they added 22 but importantly took up 112 balls before Vagadia was also lbw.

At the fall of the sixth wicket 18 year old Noah Priestley joined Waite and at tea they had taken the score to 152-6 adding only four runs but using 48 balls to do so. Overs were bowled quickly with a dual spin attack with fielders close to the bat however the two batters showed determination, patience and no little ability to survive and flourish – Waite finished 82 not out from 209 balls and Priestley made his maiden half century ending 55 not out from 127 balls (6 fours and 2 sixes) as the game ended at 5.38pm as a draw.
